Yeast Donut Extruder Machine

Automatic Yeast Donut Extruder

Yeast Donut Extruder / Pressure Cutter - Model EYD5

Made to Order

To operate, place an empty tray on the yeast donut extruder and it does the rest. It dispenses a row of donuts, moves the tray, and dispenses the next row—repeating until the tray is full. The machine can start automatically when a new tray is inserted, or you can press the start button to begin. Once filled, the tray is ready to go straight into your proofer.

How does the Yeast Donut Extruder work?

The Yeast Donut Extruder features a pressurized dispenser that maintains consistent air pressure, ensuring the thick yeast dough is smoothly pushed out when the hopper opens. As the dough is extruded, a proprietary cutter shapes it into perfect donuts, which drop neatly onto the tray. Once the first row of donuts is complete, the tray automatically advances for the next row. This process continues until the tray is completely filled with proof-ready donuts. The operator then simply removes the loaded tray and places it into the proofer.

Manual vs Automatic Mode

The machine supports two modes of operation: manual and automatic. In manual mode, the operator simply needs to load an empty tray and press the start button for the tray to be filled with donuts. The tray is automatically moved by the machine so that donuts to be extruded on each row and the tray gets filled.

In automatic mode, the machine detects when a tray is removed and a new empty one is placed so it starts extruding donuts automatically. There’s no need for the operator to press the start button each time, he/she only needs to load and unload trays.
